About Manthey 1st Phorm
Manthey 1st Phorm is the GTD companion entry to the Manthey EMA GTD Pro program — two Manthey-affiliated Porsche entries competing at the same event in different classes. The team carries the name of its title sponsor, 1st Phorm — a fitness and sports nutrition brand that brings a distinctive commercial presence to the Porsche GT racing world.
The Manthey connection is the team's most valuable asset. Manthey Racing is Porsche's legendary German tuning and racing partner, renowned for developing some of the most performance-optimized Porsche 911s ever built. Access to Manthey's setup knowledge, aerodynamic data, and suspension expertise gives this GTD entry a level of technical support that most customer teams cannot match.
The Car: Porsche 911 GT3 R (992)
The 911 GT3 R is Porsche's customer GT3 racing car, built from the 992-generation 911 platform. Rear-engine, rear-wheel drive, naturally aspirated flat-six — the Porsche approach to GT3 racing is unique in concept and highly competitive in practice. The GT3 R is one of the most widely raced GT3 cars in the world, meaning Porsche's customer racing support network is vast and well-developed.
Manthey's involvement takes this already-strong package further: their engineers have spent decades learning how to extract maximum performance from the 911 platform, particularly at demanding circuits like the Nürburgring Nordschleife. That knowledge transfers to Sebring's bumpy, demanding surface.
Patrick Lindsey — American Porsche Ambassador
Patrick Lindsey is one of the most prominent American Porsche racing drivers and ambassadors, having competed at Le Mans and in numerous international Porsche championships. His career represents the gentlemen driver ideal: a passionate, skilled amateur who has achieved professional levels of performance through dedication and investment. His Manthey connection reflects years of alignment with Porsche's premium GT racing culture.
Claudio Schiavoni (Italy) is an Italian gentleman driver who brings funding and passion to the program. Italian gentlemen drivers have a particular affinity for Porsche racing, blending Germanic engineering precision with Italian driving enthusiasm. Schiavoni's participation reflects the global appeal of GT3 customer racing as a lifestyle pursuit for successful businesspeople.
Harley Schuring (Netherlands) is a young Dutch Porsche driver with an emerging professional career. Young Dutch drivers are well-represented in GT3 racing — the Netherlands has produced numerous competitive GT racers — and Schuring's development within the Manthey ecosystem puts him in excellent company. His youth and hunger provide valuable energy alongside the team's experienced members.
Patrick Lindsey (USA) is an American Porsche driver and brand ambassador who has competed at Le Mans and in Porsche championships worldwide. His name is synonymous with Porsche gentleman driver racing in America — he is one of the sport's most visible advocates for the amateur driver experience at the elite level. At Sebring, his track knowledge and Porsche familiarity are genuine assets.
